Jamback Farms was created out of necessity - there just wasn't anywhere nearby to find good hay!  A local east Tennessee farming family, Jamback's founders were struggling to keep their horses in quality hay through the winter and both their horses and dogs in clean and affordable shavings.  So many local producers were not careful, baling up coarse and over-mature hay that contained little food value and often times serious problems.  Even worse, producers had a very limited quantity which meant you had to let go of a lot of money early in the year to get enough to last before they ran out, then deal with storage for several months.  When it was cold and wet both the dogs and horses needed quality bedding as well, but bagged shavings just wasn't cost effective on a large scale.

Jamback Farms sought to fix these problems and that continues to be our mission today. Jamback strives to provide the highest quality products available and keep them available year-round.  Our primary focus is on “hard to find” western products like Alfalfa and Orchardgrass/Alfalfa. We also pride ourselves on the ability to offer specialty hays like fescue free and low sugar hay for customers that have special needs that must be met. We can also meet the large demand for regular grass hay that individuals or large facilities may have. Our no minimum policy, value added delivery and focus on customer service are the hallmark of our business model.  We look forward to doing what we can to make your experience with us a good one!
